All Ways Caring HomeCare is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate, in-home care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home-like setting. Great culture and opportunities for career growth accompany competitive pay and DailyPay.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to follow care plans, with driving duties and mobility support often part of the day.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Pass background check.
• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification; or copy of high school diploma/transcript or GED diploma; and at least six (6) months of experience providing behavioral health related services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), or documented experience providing specific supports to individuals with disabilities.

Responsabilités

• Perform personal care tasks including assistance with basic personal hygiene, grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
• Foster positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
• Encourage self-help activities.
• Implement Individual Service Plan and Behavior Support Plans.
• Manage individuals' behaviors by prevention or de-escalation of aggression.
• Keep accurate daily documentation of activities, medications, goals, data tracking, and other records.
• Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments.
• Transporting clients or running errands for clients.
• Other duties as assigned.

All Ways Caring HomeCare is looking for someone like you to join our team! As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide compassionate care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.
