Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in Hummelstown, PA. The DSP will assist individuals with ADLs, personal care, mobility, meal prep, and community activities, while promoting health and safety and providing medication support as trained.

The role offers weekend shifts, paid training, and a path to development within a compassionate nonprofit team dedicated to serving individuals with developmental and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Related experience is helpful.
• Valid driver\'s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
