Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. DSPs provide one-on-one support, promoting independence, daily living skills, and community involvement, guided by each client's ISP.

Roles involve in-home and community settings with flexible hours. We offer $18–$24 per hour, local cases, and a supportive team with onboarding and growth opportunities within a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
