Services for the UnderServed (S:US) is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Rochester, NY. This role involves maintaining service plans for clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities and assisting with daily living skills. Candidates must have a HS Diploma or GED, with preferred experience in direct services. Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred.
• One year’s experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons preferred.
• Preferred Certifications: AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR & First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide habilitation services to each client as prescribed in that client’s service plans.
• Assist each client in skill development such as activities of daily living.
• Administer medication to clients as assigned and in compliance with procedures.
• Ensure assigned clients’ nutritional needs are met.
• Report immediately any observed deficiencies or issues to management.
