Services for the UnderServed is looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Rochester, NY, offering a salary of $19.00/hr. The role involves supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through habilitative services and care.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons is preferred.
• Candidates should have preferred certifications such as AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR & First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide habilitation services as per client’s service plans.
• Assist clients in skill development in daily living and socialization.
• Administer medication in compliance with policies.
• Ensure clients’ nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diet.
• Report any deficiencies in providing services or any abuse/ facility problems to management.
