Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities across New Jersey. The role focuses on promoting independence, daily living skills, and community participation, following each client’s ISP.

DSPs work one-on-one in home and community settings with flexible hours and cases near your location. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, based on experience and case assignment, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference

Responsibilities

Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
