Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities across New Jersey. We offer consistent hours, local cases, and a supportive team to help DSPs succeed.

As a DSP, you will work one-on-one with clients, helping with daily living, promoting independence, and following each client's ISP. Flexible shifts and growth opportunities are available as part of a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
