All Ways Caring HomeCare is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home settings across Conover, Denver, Sherrills Ford and surrounding NC communities.

You will assist with personal care tasks, monitor health, document activities, support behavior plans, transport clients to appointments and activities, and help maintain independence.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older
• Pass background check
• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance
• High school diploma/GED or DSP certification
• At least six months of experience with I/DD or related supports

Responsabilités

• Performing personal care tasks, including hygiene, feeding, and ambulation
• Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support
• Encouraging self-help activities
• Implements Individual Service Plan and Behavior Support Plans
• Manage behaviors by prevention or de-escalation of aggression
• Keep accurate daily documentation of activities, medications, and data tracking
• Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments
