Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate in-home care for clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The role involves personal care, health monitoring, documentation, and transport to activities and appointments, in a home-like setting. A high school diploma or GED and a DSP certification (or equivalent experience) are required, along with a valid driver's license and background check.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass background check.
• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification; or equivalent experience providing behavioral health services to individuals with I/DD.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care in clients' homes.
• Assist with personal care, grooming, feeding and mobility.
• Monitor health and health-related tasks per plan.
• Support individuals in activities of daily living and social activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, medications, and plans.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
