Job summary

Choices for People is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help individuals with disabilities achieve employment and community inclusion goals under their PCSP. You will provide individualized coaching, advocacy, and supports to promote meaningful work experiences, independence, and growth.

In this role you will assist with resumes, applications, interviews, and on-the-job supports, while coordinating services with VR/DMH referrals and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals served and families.
• Ability to follow Person Centered Support Plans (PCSPs).
• Ability to document services using electronic records.
• Knowledge of inclusion and self-determination principles.
• Ability to provide daily living assistance.
• Must obtain Missouri Class E Driver License.

• Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
• Provide person-centered support to promote employment, independence, and community inclusion.
• Deliver individualized services, training, and supports in alignment with plans and policies.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities and routine tasks.
