Job summary

Second Chances Comprehensive Services LLC seeks a dedicated Direct Support Professional to support individuals with mental health and developmental needs. You will implement individualized plans, promote independence, and ensure a safe, structured environment across homes and community settings.

Responsibilities include skill-building, behavioral support, daily living assistance, and community integration, with emphasis on advocacy and compliant progress notes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
• TOVA and medication administration training preferred or provided.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Teach and reinforce daily living skills and independence.
• Implement behavior support and de-escalation strategies.
• Assist with ADLs including hygiene, dressing, and meals.
• Support community participation and social engagement.
• Advocate for client rights and ensure accurate documentation.
