Job summary

S and O, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide care to individuals in Arizona DDD group homes.

You will support daily living activities, follow Individual Service Plans, and work with medical care teams to ensure safety and well-being. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years, valid driver's license, background clearance, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds; training and fingerprint clearance in Arizona are part of the process.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
18 years of age or older.
Six months of experience in human services preferred.
Valid Driver's license in good standing.
Successful clearance of background checks.
A reliable, responsible attitude.
A compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do.
Ability to obtain/maintain a valid Driver's License.
Proficient with the English language: written and verbal interpretation of instructions.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance, monitoring and/or training in self-care, independence, mobility and learning as per ISP.
Maintain cleanliness of environment.
Demonstrates effective communication with team and clients.
Assist with health care tasks including medication administration and safety.
Maintain confidentiality and privacy; ensure records are meticulously kept.
