Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in Statesville is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Fanjoy II. You will provide personalized support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them engage with their communities and reach personal goals.

This part-time role (20 hours/week, every other weekend) offers $17.00/hour and a $1,500 sign-on bonus. You’ll assist with daily living, transportation, community activities, and advocacy in a supervised, compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Compassionate, patient and dedicated to person-centered support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster independence while providing necessary support.
• Knowledge of disability rights and community integration.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ rights and deliver person-centered support.
• Support health and safety initiatives and accident prevention.
• Encourage self-advocacy and empower individuals to make choices.
• Accompany individuals to work, activities, and community events.
• Teach independent living skills and personal care.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
