Job summary

Northeast Arc in Danvers, MA is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our Collins Street Residence team. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living, health and community activities, following MAP and CPR/First Aid protocols.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid and MAP Certification required.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers, mobility.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to person-centered supports.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to meet clinical, social, and daily living needs.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing and transfers.
• Support meal preparation, household activities, and recreation.
• Facilitate community experiences to build skills and independence.
• Administer medications in accordance with MAP policies.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and community outings.
• Complete documentation, health records, and safety reports promptly.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment for all individuals served.
