Job summary

Northeast Arc in Danvers, MA is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our Collins Street residence team on the 2nd shift. The role supports residents with daily living, personal care, and community engagement in a group home setting.

This full-time position requires MAP and CPR/First Aid certifications and a Massachusetts driver’s license; applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and provide physical support when needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to meet clinical, social, and daily living needs.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, and transfers.
• Support meal preparation, household activities, and recreational opportunities.
• Facilitate community experiences that promote skill development and independence.
• Administer medications in accordance with MAP regulations and policy.
• Accompany residents to medical appointments, hospital visits, and community outings.
• Complete accurate documentation including logs, health records, and daily data collection.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all individuals served.

Our Residential Home in Danvers is looking for Direct Support Professionals to join its team!

Location: Collins Street Residence, Danvers, MA

Schedule: Full-Time | 2nd Shift

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Wednesday 1 pm - 11 pm

Compensation: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and active MAP and CPR/First Aid certifications.

The residents at our Collins Street home in Danvers are an active group who enjoy attending local sporting events, going to the movies, and spending time together playing games at home. During the summer months, residents enjoy cookouts and relaxing in the backyard. The home is conveniently located near Liberty Tree Mall, Northshore Mall, and public transportation.

Residents require support with daily living activities, meal preparation, community engagement, and personal care.

Position Summary

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide quality supports that promote independence, personal growth, and community inclusion. You will assist individuals in achieving their goals while ensuring their health, safety, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to meet individuals' clinical, social, and daily living needs.
