RHA Health Services, LLC in North Carolina invites you to join as a Direct Support Professional. In this community-based role, you’ll support individuals with disabilities and help them achieve their goals, wearing many hats as advocate, coach and caregiver.

You’ll work in Calloway with regular PT shifts, earning $18-$20 per hour plus a $3,000 bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. No prior experience required beyond a dedication to empowering others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred (TN).
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Conflict resolution skills required.
• Some computer skills preferred.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain good attendance and confidentiality.
• Pre-employment screening includes background checks, drug testing, and verification.

Responsibilities

• Promote healthy living and prevent illness.
• Support self-advocacy and client choice.
• Accompany individuals to work, events, and outings.
• Teach independent living skills.
• Provide transportation to appointments.
• Foster positive community relationships.
• Assist with medications where state law allows.
• Document care provided and protect confidentiality.
• Support clients in communication and rights education.
