Job summary

Hope Haven seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities and mental health needs. DSPs work with clients to meet physical, emotional, and social goals in daily activities.

You will assist with personal care, daily routines, and community participation, documenting progress and coordinating transportation when required. A high school diploma or GED and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support clients according to individual goals and service plans.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and mealtime needs.
• Provide training and guidance for daily living activities.
• Complete client logs and documentation within 24 hours.
• Help clients schedule activities and transportation as needed.
• Promote safety and follow all procedures.
