Job summary

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will help clients reach goals, build skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences with compassionate daily living support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related Direct Support Professional experience.
• At least 18 years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background/drug screenings.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid training before first shift.
• Weekend availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with meal preparation and cleanup.
• Support light housekeeping and laundry.
• Offer companionship and encouragement.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, errands, or community activities.
