Job summary

Dungarvin seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental or physical disabilities to live as independently as possible with dignity and respect.

You will provide hands-on caregiving, encouragement, daily living support, and documentation while working on a team dedicated to person-centered care; schedules include full-time and part-time with some weekends and holidays. Competitive pay: $15.75/hr and a $1500 sign-on bonus for select programs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required (due to transporting persons served)
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Good communication and documentation skills are essential

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on caregiving, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
