Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver to work with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and other complex needs. The role focuses on empowering independence and dignity through hands-on support and positive direction.

Schedule: Multiple shifts available, including weekends. Wage: Starting $17.00-$20.00 per hour. Sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and ability to transport individuals served.
• Experience working with individuals with IDD, mental health, psychiatric needs and/or security settings preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document care.
• Comfortable using documentation tools and lightweight computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure comfort, safety, and personal growth of individuals served.
• Assist with daily living tasks (transfers, dressing, bathing, toileting, hygiene).
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
