CW Resources in West Hartford, CT is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Day Program team. You will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them with daily activities, community engagement, and meaningful tasks while promoting independence.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. The shift is Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–2:30 pm, with opportunities to grow and contribute to a mission-driven workplace that values teamwork

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Comfortable working with adults with disabilities.
• Must have Real ID and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to assist with personal care and mobility as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist adults with daily needs and mobility within the program.
• Lead group and one-on-one activities to promote learning and engagement.
• Transport participants to outings using the company van.
• Document daily activities and incidents accurately.
• Attend trainings to maintain skills and certifications.
• Follow health, behavior, and safety procedures and state regulations.
