Job summary

Tech Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help individuals achieve personal dignity, respect, choice and opportunity. You will work under the supervision of a Team Leader to provide care, training, supervision and assessment per PCSPs.

The role involves supporting daily living activities, promoting community integration, and collaborating with staff to ensure quality service delivery in various locations and shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or Bronze Level, WORKready Certification is required.
• Preferred: One year of experience in the IDD field.

Responsibilities

• Provides care and reports progress daily and per PCSP.
• Attend to personal needs: feeding, bathroom, dressing, medication administration, first aid.
• Assist clients with meal planning, food purchases and preparation.
• Maintain a healthy living environment and address safety concerns.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks in client residences.
• Transport clients or arrange public transportation.
• Help clients develop social and communication skills and community integration.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure service delivery.
• Participate as a member of the Person-Centered Support Plan team.
