Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Baltimore County, MD. The DSP will support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities, transportation, and life skills, in a collaborative, mission-driven team.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, empathy and strong communication, and basic computer skills. Some locations require a valid US driver’s license and transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• A valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required in some locations; up to 3 years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily activities, including household chores, meals, recreational activities, learning activities, and physical fitness.
• Assist individuals with transportation to community activities, with mileage reimbursement provided where applicable.
• Represent the needs, wants, and interests of individuals served and contribute input on program planning and implementation.
