Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will provide one-on-one support to help them live safely, independently, and with dignity.

The role offers competitive pay between $18 and $20 per hour, a $1,000 sign-on bonus (eligibility applies), flexible schedules, paid training, benefits, and mileage reimbursement for eligible travel.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet one listed requirement.
• Includes high school diploma or equivalent or completion of state-approved training.
• Demonstrated competency by passing the required written test.

Responsibilities

• Build daily living skills and community participation with individuals.
• Follow each Individual Support Plan and document progress.
• Assist with cooking, cleaning, grooming, transport and errands.
• Promote dignity, personal choice and self-advocacy in all interactions.
• Report updates to the IDD Program Specialist and coordinate with team.
