Responsibilities include direct care, documentation, safety, and collaboration with families and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Healthcare, human services training preferred.
• Background check and screenings required.
• Illinois driver's license required.
• Drug-free workplace with pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Support people in reaching, growing and achieving personal goals and independence.
• Encourage community involvement and social interaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for people supported.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to provide the best support.
