Job summary

First Resources Corp. is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Residential Services team in Bloomfield and surrounding sites.

This part-time role involves assisting individuals with daily living skills, mobility, and community involvement, with flexibility to float between shifts and locations. You will help with grocery shopping, hygiene, transportation, and documenting progress on Person Centered Service Plans, while maintaining clear communication with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and fill in as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities like grocery shopping, errands, hygiene, and medication administration.
• Assist with mobility needs, including two-person transfers and use of a Hoyer lift.
• Help clients achieve personal goals such as cooking, cleaning, and social integration.
• Transport clients to appointments and community events.
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs).
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members.
