Job summary

Aurora Community Services is seeking a part-time Caregiver - Direct Support Professional in Colorado Springs to empower adults with disabilities through daily living support and community integration.

Responsibilities include assisting with self-care, medication administration, meal planning, transportation, and following individual service plans, while promoting independence in a supportive, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for consumer transport.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to twist, turn, squat, bend, reach, pull, push from high/low position, raise arms above shoulder, walk, sit (chair and floor), climb stairs, and use hands and fingers.
• Communicate basic English.
• Basic reading, writing, and internet navigation skills.
• Experience with adults with disabilities.
• Flexible scheduling around availability, and every other weekend off.
