Job summary

Development Workshop, Inc. is seeking an Employment Training Specialist to support individuals with disabilities through direct job coaching, advocacy, and skills development. This part-time role (29 hours per week) offers meaningful work helping clients achieve independence and employment goals.

Hours vary (Mon-Sun) based on client needs; PTO provided; start pay at $13.50/hour. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a Health and Welfare background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; prefer two years of related experience such as Vocational Rehabilitation, special education, teaching, or counseling.
• Ability to secure a valid driver's license and Health and Welfare background check.

Responsibilities

• To assist clients who have secured community employment to maintain and develop their vocational skills to meet their vocational goal.
• Provide direct job coaching, support, and advocacy.
