Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Pass a background screening and have basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and mobility.
• Support meal prep and maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Implement care plans and document accurately.
• Monitor health, behavior, and overall well-being; report changes.
• Encourage participation in recreational and community activities.
• Collaborate with supervisors and the care team to ensure quality care.
• Maintain a respectful, safe, and supportive environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Support meal preparation and maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
• Implement individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation
• Observe, monitor, and report changes in health, behavior, or overall well-being
• Encourage participation in recreational, social, and community activities
• Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
• Maintain a respectful, safe, and supportive environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical job duties
• Successfully pass a background screening
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services
• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
