Job summary

KenCrest is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals for weekend-only schedules in Stratford and Ansonia, CT. Starting pay is $18.50/hr, rising to $19.25/hr with CT Medical Certification.

Weekend openings are across multiple homes, with varying shifts and potential extra hours. You will support individuals with daily living activities, meals, medication administration, and personal goals to build independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record required.
• Minimum 3 years licensed driving experience required.
• Excellent ability to understand and follow spoken and written English instructions.
• IDD experience preferred, but we will train otherwise qualified candidates.
• Must successfully complete required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, meals, medication administration, and personal care.
• Support independence through participation in community activities and routines.
• Coordinate with assigned home to follow schedules and personal goals.
