Job summary

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner in East Brunswick, NJ, is seeking Part-Time Direct Support Professionals to assist residents in daily living tasks in our residential programs. The role includes supporting personal care, therapies, and accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and outings on weekends.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, being at least 18, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and good Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Reading and speaking Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• This position provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients' success in daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational pursuits.
• Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities and other outings.
• Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients.

For more than 40 years, we've developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Schedule: Saturdays 7am-3pm and Sundays 3pm-11pm

Hourly Rate: $18.50 per hour
