Job summary

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner in East Brunswick, NJ, seeks Part-Time Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with brain injury in residential programs. You’ll provide minimum to maximum assistance to promote daily living skills, recreational activities and vocational pursuits.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, being at least 18, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Reading and speaking Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities and other outings.

For more than 40 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Schedule: Thursdays & Fridays 7am-3pmHourly Rate: $18.50 per hour

This position provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational pursuits
