Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes in Tipp City, OH and surrounding areas. Training for this position is provided in its entirety, with no prior experience required.

Walk-ins are welcome for open interviews every Monday from 11am to 3pm at 7695 Poe Ave., Dayton, OH 45414. The role offers paid training, full-time benefits (medical/vision/dental, disability and life insurance, 401k), PTO,

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license and car insurance.
Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment.
Providing personal care assistance.
