Job summary

Mandala Community LLC is seeking DSPs to support adults with IDD in residential and day services in Kansas. You will assist with daily living, community activities, and personal care, while promoting independence and respect.

Training and ongoing supervision are provided to help you succeed in a compassionate team environment. Roles include day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, with full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts consistently.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful.
• Comfortable working directly with adults with IDD.
• Able to follow written plans, policies, and supervisory direction.
• Able to complete required electronic documentation.
• Willing to complete required training.
• Able to work independently while also being part of a team.
• Previous experience with IDD preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support based on each person's needs and goals.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as needed.
• Support individuals in developing independent living skills.
• Participate in community outings, activities, and appointments.
• Assist with meal preparation and household responsibilities.
• Follow medication-management procedures as trained and authorized.
• Complete required daily documentation accurately and on time.

• Promote dignity, choice, independence, inclusion, and respect.
• Communicate professionally with individuals, guardians, coworkers, supervisors, and other members of the support team.

As a DSP, you will work directly with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), helping them build independence, participate in their community, achieve personal goals, and live meaningful, fulfilling lives.

What You’ll Do

As a DSP, responsibilities may include:

• Provide individualized support based on each person's needs and goals
