Job summary

Clarvida is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate, hands-on care in residential programs in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. The DSP role focuses on empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently and participate in community activities.

The position requires reliability, empathy, and a heart for service, with part-time hours and a base pay of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and supervision in a residential setting
• Support individuals in achieving independence with daily tasks and routines
• Encourage participation in social and community activities
• Monitor health, safety, and well-being of individuals
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations and agency policies
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and report concerns to the Program Specialist
