Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners in Raleigh, NC is seeking Part-Time 1st Shift Direct Support Professionals to support residents in our residential programs. The role involves assisting clients with daily living tasks, therapies, and accompanying them to appointments.

You will work 7am–3pm on 1st shift, provide compassionate care to medically complex and behaviorally challenged clients, and help promote independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Reading and speaking Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational pursuits.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving/accompanying to appointments and outings.
• Work with medically complicated and behaviorally challenging clients.

We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Schedule: 1st Shift- 7am-3pm

• Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities and other outings
• Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients
