Job summary

Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, seeks Full-Time Direct Support Professionals for our Raleigh, NC residential programs. Schedule is 2nd shift, 3PM-11PM.

You will assist clients with daily living, personal care, therapies, and transportation to appointments and activities. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Provide minimum to maximum assistance and supervision to promote clients’ daily living, recreational, and vocational activities.
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, therapies, and accompany to appointments or outings.
• Support clients in daily tasks and ensure safety in a medically complex, behaviorally challenging population.

For more than 40 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Schedule: 2nd shift- 3PM-11PM

We are searching for Full-Time 1st Shift Direct Support Professionals to workin our residential programs located in Raleigh, NC.

• This position provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational pursuits
• Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities and other outings
• Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Reading and speaking Spanish is a plus
