Job summary

Oasis Habilitation in New Jersey is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings on a per diem, flexible schedule.

You will assist with daily living skills and routines, promote community participation and social engagement, and encourage independence in a safe, respectful environment. Background checks and training are required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and reliable DSP with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to complete required background checks and training.
• Experience in DSP or caregiving is a plus but not required.

A growing NJ-based provider is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.

What You’ll Do

Provide direct support based on each individual’s needs and goals, including:

• Assisting with daily living skills and routines

• Supporting community participation and social engagement

• Encouraging independence in a safe and respectful environment

• Completing required documentation and progress notes

• Working closely with families and team members to provide quality support

• Compassionate, reliable, and professional

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and responsibly

• Experience in DSP, caregiving, or human services is a plus, but not required

• Must be able to complete required background checks and training
