Job summary

Lifehouse Agency is seeking an overnight staff member in Fairfax, CA. The role runs Monday through Thursday from about 11 p.m. to 10 a.m., supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living, community activities, and medical appointments.

Responsibilities

• Assist people to live independently by helping with day-to-day tasks.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene needs as required.
• Support social/ community activities and outings.
• Monitor medications and accompany to medical appointments.
• Develop positive relationships with families and external agencies.
• Participate in team meetings and agency training.

We are currently seeking an overnight staff to work in Fairfax, CA. The shifts include Monday through Thursday, working from approximately 11 p.m. to 10 a.m.

What you will be doing:

• Ensure independence for the people you support by assisting in day to day tasks
• Assist with Personal Care and Hygiene tasks which may include showering, bathing, continence care. g-tube assistance, or similar tasks
• Support community integration and development of social skills through recreational activities
• Monitor medication and accompany the people you support to medical appointments
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and third-party agencies
• Participate in team meetings and training as well as agency-wide training opportunities

Requirements

• Availability to work from Monday - Thursday nights from 11 p.m. PST - 10 a.m. PST in Fairfax, CA.
• Friendly, helpful attitude, willing to go the extra mile
• CA Driver's License plus 2 years driving experience (Required)
• Registered Vehicle with valid insurance (Required)
• Ability to pass LiveScan fingerprint clearance
• Ability to lift 50lbs
