Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) - On Call to provide compassionate support to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in home and community settings. On-call staff commit to at least one shift per month and one holiday per year, with weekend availability valued.

The role includes traveling between Rogers Park and Glencoe, working in residential locations as needed, and training across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with disabilities.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, HCWR entry as DSP or CNA considered assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide supports to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in home and community.
• Support transitions between Rogers Park and Glencoe areas as needed.
• Train in and support all residential homes within the department based on staffing needs.

JCFS is looking for talented and engaging individuals to provide supports to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in their home and community. On Call staff are expected to work a minimum of 1 shift per month and 1 holiday per year while maintaining compliance with all required trainings. Weekend availability is a major plus!

Staff may sometimes work in additional residential locations as training and staffing needs require.

This position pays $20.00 hourly rate with increases based on proven relatable experience.

Requirements:

• 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• HCWR entry as DSP or CNA
• S-TOFHLA Passing score (Literacy test)
• Ability to transition between Rogers Park and Glencoe areas during assigned work hours
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience supporting people with disabilities

• Must have reliable Transportation
