Job summary

Braverhood is seeking a DSP (Direct Support Professional) in Dix Hills, NY to provide one-on-one support in the home and community. The role emphasizes helping individuals achieve personal goals, encourage communication, socialization, and independence, and documenting progress.

The position offers $18–$20 per hour, part-time hours with weekday and/or weekend options, paid training, and PTO. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred.
• Experience with children or young adults preferred.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle REQUIRED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Dependable, accountable, and punctual.
• U.S. Citizen or valid work authorization.
• Complete required paid DSP training after hire.
