Job summary

Braverhood in New York is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support in home and community settings, helping individuals pursue personal goals and maintain independence. The role offers meaningful, hands-on care in a flexible part-time schedule.

You will assist with daily living activities, document progress, and promote communication and socialization while adhering to agency and OPWDD requirements. A compassionate, reliable caregiver mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
• Experience with individuals with special needs preferred.
• Experience with children or young adults preferred.
• U.S. citizen or valid work authorization.
• Complete required paid DSP training after hire.
