Job summary

First Resources Corp. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Hourly Services team in Sigourney, IA.

This part-time, hourly role supports individuals with disabilities in daily living tasks, personal goal achievement, and community engagement. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and documenting progress on PCSPs while maintaining open communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable candidate to support individuals with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and cover needs as required.
• Background check results must be satisfactory.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks such as hygiene, cooking, cleaning, and errands.
• Support clients in achieving personal goals and participating in community activities.
• Provide transportation to appointments and events.
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs).
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members.
