Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Hendersonville, NC to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You’ll help with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to promote independence.

Starting pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules, paid onboarding and training, and weekly pay are offered along with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities and community participation.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence.
• Assist with daily living activities (meals, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support clients in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Monitor health and safety; maintain a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and career development.
