Job summary

Minn Care Home Health LLC in New Hope, MN is seeking Direct Support Professionals for our assisted living. The role provides direct care to adults with developmental and mental disabilities and supports after hospital discharge.

You will assist with personal care, housekeeping, meals, medications, transportation, and community participation while maintaining safety and dignity. Weekend evening shifts every other weekend. Starting pay $18 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Background check required.
• Fluent English with good communication skills.

• Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and mobility.
• Housekeeping including cleaning, bedding, dishes, and laundry.
• Monitor and redirect client behaviors to ensure safety.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Manage medications: ordering, administration and monitoring.
• Coordinate client transportation.
• Assist clients in getting around and participating in the community.
• Assist clients in managing their finances.

Minn Care Home Health is looking for Direct Support Professionals for our Assisted Living in New Hope, MN:

• Every other weekend (2pm - 10pm)
• Starting at $18/hr

Minn Care Home Health provides home care services to adults with developmental and mental disabilities, and those in need of medical care after hospital discharge. The Direct Support Professional will perform direct client cares ordered by the client's physician and as documented in the client's care plan.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• A. Assist clients with personal care: dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, transferring, positioning, mobility.
• B. Housekeeping: cleaning all living areas, making the bed, dishes, laundry, taking out the garbage
• C. Monitor and re-direct client behaviors to ensure their safety.
• D. Meal planning and preparation.
• E. Medications: ordering, administration and monitoring.
• F. Arrange client transportation.
• G. Assist clients in getting around and participating in the community.
• H. Assist clients in managing their finances.

REQUIREMENTS

• A. Must pass the Department of Human Services background check
• B. Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
• D. Fluent in English and have good communication skills
• E. Must show compassion and empathy to clients
• F. Must have a driver's license
