Job summary

Morning Star Personal Care Inc. in Decatur, GA is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for the Weekday Evening Shift (Mon–Fri, 3:30 PM–11:30 PM), 40 hours per week.

You will work as part of a dedicated team providing compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting independence, safety, dignity, and community participation. Decatur, GA 30033— Weekday Evening Shift
Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM–11:30 PM
40 hours per week

What you'll do

• Provide high-quality, person-centered services in accordance with each individual's needs and service plan.
• Promote independence, choice, dignity, safety, and community involvement.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required for the position.
• Follow Morning Star policies, procedures, training requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Communicate professionally with individuals, coworkers, supervisors, families/guardians, and other members of the individual's support team.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy of the individuals we serve.
• Complete required training, meetings, and ongoing professional development.
• Maintain dependable attendance and arrive on time and prepared to work the full scheduled shift.
• Perform additional responsibilities appropriate to the position as assigned.
