Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

This role offers flexible schedules, paid training, growth opportunities, and a team-oriented environment designed to empower clients and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver3s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence at home, in the community, and in the workplace.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.

What Youll Do

As a DSP you will provide hands on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence at home in the community and in the workplace Being a DSP is a rewarding experience you will genuinely make a difference and contribute to someones journey towards a more meaningful life

Responsibilities

Building positive relationships and supporting individuals in achieving personal goalsAssisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation hygiene and household tasksSupporting individuals in community participation employment and social activitiesUsing adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communicationEncouraging independence and helping individuals develop new skillsMonitoring health and safety while maintaining a supportive environmentCommunicating with Abound team members families and external parties case managers etc as neededCompleting documentation and maintaining schedulesCompleting in ongoing training and professional development

Pay & Signing Bonus

Starting Pay 23hour for non acuity; 33hour for acuity 1000 signing bonus paid when averaging 20 hoursweek paid in 3 installments 90 days 333 6 months 333 and 12 months 334
