Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving support for individuals with IDD in Boiling Spring Lakes, NC. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Starting pay is $16.00–$17.00/hr with a $1,000 signing bonus. Benefits include paid onboarding, training, and growth opportunities in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities is not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. Pay & Signing Bonus

Starting Pay: $-/hour

$1,000 signing bonus paid in 3 installments when averaging 20+ hours/week
