Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Wilmington, NC. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently, in a mission‑driven company with over 20 years in the I/DD space.

We offer flexible schedules, paid onboarding & training, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• No prior experience required—paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – $16.00-17.00/hr + $1,000 Signing Bonus – Wilmington

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What You’ll Do

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals

• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed
• Complete documentation and maintaining schedules
• Complete ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required – we provide paid training and support

Pay & Signing Bonus

• Starting Pay: $-/hour
• $1,000 signing bonus paid in 3 installments when averaging 20+ hours/week
