AbleLight in Saint Louis Park, MN is seeking Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals with developmental disabilities, providing daily living support, mobility, health and personal care. You will accompany residents on errands, participate in community activities, and help residents achieve personal goals.

Scheduling is 7 days on and 7 days off, with a Wednesday-Tuesday shift 10p-8a. Must be 18+, valid driver’s license, pass background, willing to CPR/First Aid, lift up to 50 pounds;

• Must possess an active driver’s license in good standing with a good driving record.
• Willing and able to pass a background check.
• Willing to complete an Adult CPR and First Aid course (if you have this already, even better).
• Embody patience, kindness, and possess a servant’s heart and hands.
• Be able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.

Direct Support Professionals empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live their most independent lives possible by:

• Helping residents with dining, mobility, health, and hygiene activities
• Accompanying individuals while running errands
• Attending special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events
• Assisting our individuals in achieving their personal goals and desires

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
